Compensation

This position is hourly, starting at $31.50/hour with a potential incentive target of $1,800.00 contingent upon individual and company performance. Actual compensation will vary by location, experience and skills.

Primary Function

The Sales & Service Representative (SSR) delivers end‑to‑end Integrated Customer Solutions at assigned customer sites, managing inventory, procurement, replenishment, and support to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Work Location & Schedule

- This is a fly‑in/fly‑out position supporting an oil and gas client on site.
- Schedule options: 7 days on / 7 days off or 14 days on / 14 days off.
- Company covers travel to and from the site and provides fully serviced camp accommodations.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering Integrated Customer Solutions across Managed Stores/Cribs, KeepStock (VMI/Vending), Managed MRO, and Integrated Supply programs.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and product availability through forecasting, replenishment, and optimization.
- Executing customer transactions, procurement activities, and order fulfillment.
- Building strong customer relationships and promoting the Grainger Value Proposition.
- Supporting sourcing activities and inventory strategies, including vending and VMI solutions.
- Leveraging reporting and tools to drive sales growth and operational performance.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining a professional work environment.




- Providing flexible support across customer service, sales, operations, and warehouse activities.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Strong work ethic, customer‑centric focus, and ability to get the job done.
- Team player capable of working independently.
- Product knowledge of industrial and/or safety products preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Self‑starter with strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Knowledge of dangerous goods and WHMIS regulations required.
- Post‑secondary education or equivalent work experience an advantage.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
- May need to attend customers’ sites and comply with safety and screening policies.

Safety Requirements

This role involves regular travel to customer sites. Employees must wear personal protective equipment such as hard hats, steel‑toed boots, and clear facial hair to fit a N95 mask or other required PPE.
