Join Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care as a Temporary Registered Nurse (RAI Coordinator) for six months. This part-time role involves managing RAI projects, offering staff education, and ensuring data accuracy.
As a Registered Nurse with RAI-MDS experience, you will oversee the implementation of RAI projects within the Home. This position requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to deliver in office support to all RAI users. In addition, you'll manage data submissions and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage RAI project implementation in the Home
• Provide RAI-MDS 2.0 education and training to staff
• Develop processes for MDS data accuracy and collection
• Conduct audits of MDS assignments for accuracy
• Submit MDS data to CIHI according to timelines
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with current Ontario certification
• Experience in nursing and staff supervision
• Current CPR certification
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Ability to converse in Chinese is an asset
