Position Details Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 Line Of Business: Governance & Control Pay Range: 108,800 - 163,200 CAD TD is committed to fair and equitable compensation. Key Accountabilities Customer Develop, communicate, and implement a holistic governance and control strategy aligned with overall business goals. Plan and manage cross‑area activities requiring alignment across multiple functions. Lead regulatory change management and guide the team in policy and procedure development across areas. Partner with management to anticipate trends, identify issues, and recommend actions to senior leaders. Ensure accurate administration, control, and compliance activities meet target metrics. Provide aggregated risk‑control views and decision support to leadership. Forecast program demand, prioritize portfolios, and coordinate with stakeholders. Communicate consistently to stakeholders and employees in alignment with risk strategies. Provide direction to enterprise‑wide projects as an SME and support solution implementation. Shareholder Work with senior management on business planning and resource optimization. Maintain alignment with regulatory and enterprise requirements. Escalate key issues to appropriate levels.



Mitigate risk and ensure compliance with financial controls and segregation of duties. Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives and drive risk guidance. Oversee risk identification, monitoring, and regulatory compliance across functions. Lead remediation plans for performance or governance issues. Protect the organization’s interests by escalating high‑risk activities. Maintain a risk‑management culture aligned with the organization’s appetite. Employee / Team Lead and support the overall team, ensuring adherence to enterprise frameworks. Keep the team updated on emerging issues and regulatory changes. Coach, develop, and performance‑manage employees. Set team performance objectives and track progress. Manage hiring to build a diverse and qualified workforce. Foster a fair, inclusive, and high‑performing team culture. Represent the business area as a brand ambassador. Breadth & Depth Lead a complex, high‑risk function while developing talent. Provide people‑management leadership, hiring, goal setting, and compensation oversight. Define discipline and strategy for relevant areas, aligning with best practices. Mentor practitioners and executives within the expertise domain.



Strategic partnership with leadership to identify efficiencies and opportunities. Set operational direction and collaborate on common goals. Plan for longer‑range functional strategy. Report to an executive sponsor. Experience & Education Undergraduate degree preferred. Deep industry and risk‑control expertise. 10+ years of relevant experience.
