Job Summary:

The Sourcing Lead owns vendorrelationships end-to-end — finding, qualifying, onboarding, and managingsuppliers across both onshore (Canadian/North American) and offshore sourcingchannels. This is a role for someone who treats supplier relationships as astrategic asset, not just a transaction, and who can move fast without cuttingcorners on quality, cost, or reliability.

Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum

Location

in-office position at our Oakville, ON facility; Monday -Friday

Responsibilities:

- Own vendor relations across thesupplier base — be the primary point of contact for pricing, performance, andissue resolution
- Source, vet, and onboard newvendors (onshore and offshore), including due diligence on quality, capacity,compliance, and financial stability
- Lead strategic sourcinginitiatives to improve cost, lead time, and quality — negotiate pricing andterms that protect margin
- Build and maintain onboardingplaybooks, vendor scorecards, and performance reviews
- Diversify and de-risk the supplybase across categories,



balancing cost advantages of offshore sourcing againstspeed and flexibility of onshore partners
- Collaborate with production,purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure vendor performance supportson-time delivery
- Monitor market trends, inputcosts, and supplier risk (tariffs, capacity, geopolitical) that could affectsourcing strategy

Skills and Qualifications:

- 3–5+ years in sourcing,procurement, or supply chain — apparel and/or promotional products sourcingexperience preferred
- Track record managing bothdomestic and international (offshore) vendor relationships
- Strong negotiation skills andcomfort owning commercial terms, not just relaying them
- Highly organized — able to runmultiple vendor onboarding and sourcing projects at once
- Comfortable with data: costcomparisons, vendor scorecards, spend analysis
- Clear, confident communicator whocan hold vendors accountable while maintaining strong relationships
- Bonus: experience with AI tools(e.g., Claude) to speed up vendor research, RFQ comparisons, and reporting —we're an AI-forward team and expect our leaders to use it daily
