The Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of British Columbia is searching for a full time Head and Neck Surgical Oncology & Reconstructive Surgeon. Candidates must possess significant surgical expertise and a dedication to clinical education while also advancing research in head and neck oncology. This position features a blend of patient care and academic responsibilities, including on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver complex surgical oncology care to patients
• Participate in educational programs at UBC for students and residents
• Cultivate research projects in Head and Neck Oncology
• Provide surgical on-call coverage for regional facilities
• Develop funding sources for research after initial two years
Requirements:
• Certification from the Royal College in Otolaryngology
• Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology
• Expertise in robotic surgery and reconstruction
• Master’s degree in Head and Neck related field
• Licensing from CPSBC required
