The Community Programs Manager, reporting into the Director of Impact, will support Riverside Natural Food’s (RNF) purpose by investing in relationships with our external community partnerships to drive more lasting impact, manage internal community‑centric programs such as RNF’s TRUE Zero Waste, develop internal and external opportunities for storytelling‑based communication, generate and share high‑quality impact data, and support the development of Riverside’s “Compassion Brands”. This position will manage external partnerships while supporting internal cultural norms and behaviours, and will engage deeply with organizational impact data from manufacturing‑level resource consumption, waste generation, donation efforts, responsible sourcing initiatives, organic ag project metrics, and more across RNF’s global operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Community Partnership Development Create and continuously improve relationships with RNF’s external Good Food Advocacy partners and programs, building a sense of community aligned with our purpose and values Manage and explore additional nature conservation partnership opportunities Support the Impact Team in its organic advocacy efforts across municipal, provincial/state, and federal levels in countries and regions where we have influence Internal and External Communications Manage and execute Riverside’s internal and external purpose and impact‑related communication strategies, develop annual calendars, and integrate purpose and impact by leveraging storytelling and high‑quality data to inspire action while upholding our values Oversee channels and platforms in collaboration with external partners and internal cross‑functional teams Build relationships and ways of working with stakeholders to gather and organize data and documentation for engaging storytelling and reporting Data Aggregation, Management, & Analysis Manage data aggregation and analysis for community‑based impacts Collect data from community partners to understand accomplishments and challenges/opportunities related to RNF’s Good Food Advocacy and Conservation Project investments Develop and manage impact data from Riverside’s “Compassion Brands” Program Support data needs related to community impacts from Organic Ag Projects Develop a centralized database for all impact‑related data Continuously improve lines of communication between business functions and set expectations for regular data sharing and reporting in collaboration with the Impact Team Create data visualization dashboards that empower functions to understand their impacts and make actionable steps to reduce them Cross‑Functional Impact Support Collaborate across multiple functions to deliver on RNF corporate impact initiatives and policies Improve engagement related to RNF purpose, environmental, and social impact awareness for all employees Research and Advocacy Conduct research and collaborate with purpose‑aligned organizations on evolving models for lasting impact aligned with RNF’s purpose Contribute to strategic planning and knowledge management (industry best practices, one‑pagers, case studies, external collaboration, lessons learned, etc.) Provide recommendations for best‑in‑class philanthropic and community‑building practices across RNF’s ecosystem and spheres of influence Ad‑hoc projects as assigned Minimum Requirements A bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Environmental Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility, International Development, or a related field 3+ years of experience in corporate or campus sustainability, community building initiatives, compliance/stakeholder reporting, or a related field Solid written, visual, and oral communication skills; emphasis on creativity to support meaningful engagement Community‑mindful with experience developing long‑standing corporate or philanthropic relationships based on trust, shared vision and values, and reciprocity Ability to interface and engage diverse stakeholder groups, including awareness of cultural sensitivity Strong organizational abilities including planning, project development, and task facilitation Advanced‑level skills in Microsoft Office 365, Tableau, or other data management or visualization software High level of curiosity and ability to cultivate positive cross‑functional influence and collaboration Results‑oriented; takes pride in a high‑quality product, yet open to receiving feedback Detail‑oriented; consistently aware of all the moving pieces Travel Requirements Possible 1–2 international trips per year, as mutually agreed Salary Range: $85,000 CAD – $95,000 CAD What We Expect Values‑led: You’ll be a member of a thoughtful and compassionate team that prioritizes respect, teamwork, resourcefulness, and a good dash of fun Unparalleled experiences and opportunities: Help shape what this organization will look like and what we’ll offer the world, into the future Access to everyone:
