Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Process Analyst (Risk/Compliance). This position offers a unique prospect to support vital operational risk programs, engage with senior management, and contribute to a leading banking institution's risk governance framework.

Pay rate range (CAD): $35.11/hr - $42.13/hr

Responsibilities

- Support Key Indicator program and ensure adherence to Operational Risk Management policies and standards
- Assist with periodic dashboard submissions and facilitate timely reporting to senior management
- Engage with stakeholders to onboard and maintain Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
- Conduct testing of key controls and requirements to identify internal control gaps
- Analyze, report, and track exceptions through resolution process
- Lead efforts to develop remediation plans addressing control gaps and root causes
- Enhance testing processes for efficiency and effectiveness, including sampling methodology application
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve key controls and close documentation gaps
- Support ad-hoc risk and control initiatives and strategies
- Foster positive team relationships through effective communication and knowledge sharing

Desired Skill-Set

- University degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in governance, risk management, controls, audit, or compliance
- Advanced knowledge of governance, risk,



and control procedures and strategies
- Experience with audit, testing, or bank control methodologies
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
- Sound judgment and decision‑making abilities
- Capable of analyzing complex information, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
- Discretion in handling confidential information
- Understanding of wholesale banking operations is an asset
- Comfortable presenting to senior executives
