Become a Crisis Response Navigator with AVI Health & Community Services in Victoria. This pivotal role is focused on crisis de-escalation and hands-on mobile support across the community.
As part of the CRCL Victoria Team, you will manage incoming crisis calls, perform initial assessments, and coordinate appropriate interventions or referrals. The role requires collaboration with all team members ensuring seamless crisis de-escalation and protected outreach to individuals aged 13 and older facing mental health or substance use challenges. You will utilize insights from lived experiences and trauma-informed practices to engage effectively with service users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess incoming crisis calls for immediate needs
• Coordinate responses with field teams for safety
• Maintain communication and monitor team workload
• Conduct routine data collection for assessments
• Implement person-centered and harm reduction strategies
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years in crisis management roles
• Relevant degree in mental health or related field
