This part time, casual Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with students in the IGBM 2500 course, helping facilitate discussions and activities designed to deepen their understanding of Indigenous governance and business practices. Teaching Assistants will attend in-person classes on Tuesday nights, marking assessments, invigilating exams, and ensuring that students meet course objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate weekly in-class activities and discussions
• Attend all class sessions for effective engagement
• Mark assessments using provided rubrics
• Invigilate exams as required
• Coordinate activities with instructors for optimal support
Requirements:
• Experience in business or governance fields
• Undergraduate degree preferred; senior undergrads considered
• Strong understanding of Indigenous communities
• Willingness to self-identify as Indigenous/Aboriginal
• Commitment to enhancing student success
