In this position, you will be pivotal in ensuring a hazard-free work environment and compliance with health and safety protocols. As a mentor, you will lead sorters and Package Handlers, providing guidance through the sorting process. You will also assist in operations management, focusing on efficiency and responding to changing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce health and safety standards across the team
• Mentor and support Package Handlers during sorting
• Supervise sorting, scanning, and processing of packages
• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and overall organization
Requirements:
• Experience in leading teams in logistics environments
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to manage workflow and adapt to changes
• Proficiency in data entry tasks
