Clinical Coordinator - Ambulatory Multi Organ Transplant

- Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- Status: Permanent Full‑Time

Responsibilities include:
- Utilizing and applying current specialized knowledge and expertise on recent advances in nursing practice to facilitate effective clinical activities and coordinate patient care across the continuum.
- Performing teaching/educational responsibilities.
- Actively participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Participating in academic and research activities/projects.
- Performing administrative responsibilities.
- Performing cross‑functional and/or other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Completion of a recognized master’s degree nursing program preferred.
- Certificate of competency (licensure) from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) program, Level II Rescuer certification.
- Up to three (3) years of relevant experience, including experience working in an advanced practice role.
- Experience in transplant nursing preferred.
- Effective organizational,
interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to teach one‑on‑one and/or groups.
- Ability to function collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team and/or independently.
- Ability to work in a self‑directed manner.
- Demonstrated awareness of and adherence to professional and ethical standards.
- Client service oriented, with the ability to effectively work with diversity and appreciate that people with different opinions, backgrounds and characteristics bring richness to the challenge or situation at hand.
- Research experience preferred.
