Our client is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead daily manufacturing operations in a custom production workplace. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while supporting and developing the production team.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate daily production, scheduling, and workflow
- Supervise, coach, and develop shop employees
- Ensure quality standards, safety compliance, and on-time production
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and production materials
- Partner with engineering on custom projects and oversee equipment maintenance
- Drive process improvements using ERP systems and lean manufacturing principles
What You'll Bring
- Manufacturing leadership experience (steel wire or related industry preferred)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with production scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and ERP systems
- Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and meet production deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
