Full-Time PositionPosition SummaryThe POS & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate product and inventory information within the Point of Sale (POS) system while supporting the execution of the receiving process for the retail operation. This role plays a key part in ensuring inventory accuracy, productive product flow, promotional execution, and smooth day-to-day retail operations.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with data, inventory systems, vendors, customers, and internal teams in a fast-paced retail environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPOS & Inventory ManagementEnter and maintain accurate product, pricing, vendor, and inventory data within the POS systemCreate and update SKUs, barcodes, and product records as requiredEnsure inventory and pricing accuracy across all retail systemsGenerate, review, and maintain reports using Excel and POS softwareInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and data inconsistenciesSet up and maintain promotional pricing, discounts, and POS promotion functionsSupport and maintain customer loyalty program functions within the POS systemAssist with testing and verifying POS updates, pricing changes, and promotional accuracy before implementationImplement efficiency in POS data entry.Receiving & Inventory ControlExecute and support the receiving process for incoming shipmentsVerify received products against purchase orders and invoicesCoordinate with purchasing and retail teams regarding shortages, damages,
or discrepanciesEnsure products are properly entered into inventory and available for sale in a timely mannerMaintain organized receiving documentation and inventory recordsCommunication & Customer SupportCommunicate professionally with vendors, suppliers, customers, and internal departments by phone and emailRespond to incoming calls and customer inquiries in a professional and friendly mannerAssist customers and support retail operations during peak seasonal periodsProvide cashier support during busy periods as requiredSupport retail management with operational and administrative tasksAssist with additional duties and projects as assignedQualifications & SkillsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applicationsExperience with POS systems and inventory management software preferredExcellent communication, customer service, and phone skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data entryAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesPrevious experience in retail operations, inventory control, or administration is an assetPosition DetailsFull-time positionCompensation range: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour, based on skill, cohesiveness, and availabilityWorking ConditionsCombination of office, receiving, cashier, and retail floor responsibilitiesFast-paced retail environment with seasonal workload fluctuationsMay require occasional lifting and moving of products during receiving activitiesFlexibility to assist in multiple areas of the retail operation during peak seasonsDesired AttributesDependable and self-motivatedTeam-oriented with a positive attitudeHighly organized and detail-focusedAdaptable and able to multitask effectivelyStrong sense of accountability and follow-throughComfortable working collaboratively in a customer-focused environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
