What is the opportunity?The Executive Assistant will provide organizational support to the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for RBC Capital Markets. The role also includes the management of the weekly Capital Markets Operating Committee meeting, co‑ordination of high impact employee events and executive level meetings. Skills required include a solutions‑oriented attitude, a track record of building strong relationships with peers, and an ability to juggle multiple tasks in a very fast paced and dynamic environment. Given the broad mandate across Strategy, Marketing, Sustainability, Economics and Innovation, the role also requires creativity and curiosity to help position the firm for the future.What will you do?Maintain schedule/calendar of key activities for Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer and ensure key business critical dates are met. Prioritize and triage as neededSupport the organizational needs of the weekly Operating Committee meetings including scheduling speakers, distributing materials and summarizing meeting notesWork with the Leadership Team to proactively identify required needs, conflicts and materialsLiaise with Enterprise and Regional Strategy teams to prepare and maintain a calendar of Board presentations, inclusive of topics, and submission and presentation datesExhibit initiative and “follow‑through” to help leadership team as necessary. Identify areas where assistance can be provided and pursue the opportunity to do soCommunicate on a timely basis the status of key deliverables as appropriateCompletion of administrative tasks, including but not limited to, coordination of calendar/meeting arrangements, setting up conference calls, travel arrangements, restaurant reservations, catering, scanning of documents, etc.Prepare, track and manage expense reports via expense reporting systemReview, email requests for approval (e.G.: meeting materials, reports, etc.) on a daily basisMaintain an organized filing system, both digitally and with paper documentsCoordinate with building management on real estate needs,
