The role focuses on reducing costs, improving safety, and enhancing service quality. It involves working with senior leadership to approve new development applications and presenting construction and capital projects concepts for approval.Managing suppliers, consultants and contractors to ensure timely and budget-compliant program delivery is essential, as is supporting the team in tracking and publishing performance metrics.The role provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs, developing and communicating business strategies, and implementing plans. It involves analyzing costs and forecasts, determining resource requirements, evaluating processes, and measuring outcomes to ensure desired results. Promoting a customer-focused environment and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning are key components.Collaboration with senior leadership to develop sustainable strategies in design development and the construction of large scale capital projects is a critical aspect of this role. Offering guidance on building improvements, construction strategies, recommending high ROI potential, and leading major projects from concept to implementation are fundamental responsibilities. The role also involves recruiting and developing talent, and supporting mentorship and succession planning.Managing initiatives to reduce construction and development costs and enhance services involves overseeing multiple large scale infrastructure projects from concept to implementation, developing budgets, and collaborating with key partners. The role ensures adherence to company standards of integrity and ethics, integrates these values into programs, and supports the Open Door Policy. It involves developing internal and external partnerships to achieve business goals and supporting associate efforts in community outreach initiatives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field,3-5 years' experience in Commercial Real Estate or Warehouse site development, building design,
