Through award‑winning baseball‑for‑development programs, we partner with communities nationwide to help children and youth facing barriers unlock their potential.About the RoleJAYS CARE RBI SUMMER EDITION SITE MANAGERRBI Summer Edition is an initiative that offers daily programming in July and August for over 2,500 youth (ages 6‑13) attending Toronto District School Board (TDSB) Elementary Summer School.Jays Care is looking for Site Managers to lead and empower staff to engage youth (ages 6‑13) in creative, fun, and dynamic activities during our Jays Care RBI Summer Edition program. Successful applicants will have experience leading recreational programs and working with children.This position is part of our annual seasonal staffing needs. All interested applicants should be aware that this is an in‑person role, employed by Jays Care with a seasonal fixed‑term contract. Camp staff are expected to be present at their designated job site each day of their summer contract, as well as attend all mandatory staff training. RBI Summer Edition (July & August) runs distinct from RBI Spring (April to June). Coaches hired for the Jays Care Spring program are eligible and encouraged to apply to work for RBI Summer Edition.REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, RBI Summer EditionCONTRACT DURATION: March 1, 2026 – August 21,
202610 hours/month (March to May)24‑40 hours/week (June)35‑40 hours/week (July to August)SALARY: The anticipated base compensation for this role is $35.00 per hour.POSITION STATUS: NewWORK LOCATIONS: Assigned to one of our host schools within the TDSB. Applicant will have opportunity to indicate location preference once sites are identified in March 2026.APPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications will be accepted until Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.Jays Care RBI Summer Edition Site Manager will:Serve as site leader, overseeing approximately 200 youth participants and 50 seasonal staffSupervise and develop seasonal staff, including training workshops and in‑season evaluationsConnect with participant families for updates about day‑to‑day programming and addressing any behavioural needs or challengesOversee site logistics relating to site supplies, travel, foodLiaise with TDSB site staff (caretakers, administrators)Lead any off‑site trips for campers as designated trip supervisorWorking alongside Site Administrator, ensure all administrative duties are completed, reviewed and organizedAssist with the collection of data from online and in‑person feedback surveysReview material resources and protocols to ensure accuracy and that we are meeting all health and safety proceduresAssist with camper recruitment, including distribution of virtual and printed marketing materials, phone calls to prospective families and attending in‑person open house eventsConsult with RBI Summer Edition Management on overall program leadershipServe as a role model; providing leadership, problem solving strategies, mentoring staff,
