The City of Mississauga is seeking three students for its Compliance and Licensing section. This on-site role allows you to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, while developing skills in law enforcement and regulatory compliance. You will enforce by-laws, investigate complaints, and educate property owners on compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high-quality service for internal and external customers
• Enforce regulatory by-laws effectively and efficiently
• Investigate property complaints, documenting findings thoroughly
• Communicate with property owners and other city departments
• Issue necessary contravention notices and property standards orders
Requirements:
• Enrollment in a community college law enforcement program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Robust written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel to various work sites
• Access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel
