This role will work directly with the CFO and other members of the senior leadership team to provide key financial insights to the executive team and Board to support decision making that will drive the company's financial performance.How You Will ContributeEnterprise Financial Planning & Performance ManagementLead annual and multi‐year enterprise‐wide budgeting and forecasting processLead development and management of financial and operating reports for internal and external stakeholders (e.G., monthly operating updates, quarterly financial updates, board presentations, lender materials, etc.)Work with stakeholders across the organization to define, measure, analyze, and improve financial and cross‐functional KPIsAnalyze and present on financial performance and detailed variance analyses, and make recommendations to key stakeholdersAdvise on the financial implications of contemplated strategic and operational decisionsPrepare any other relevant ad hoc analysis, as neededTeam & Process DevelopmentBuild and develop high‐performing FP&A teamEvaluate, implement, and optimize finance and FP&A systems,



processes, and tools to enhance the team's capabilitiesCollaborate closely with key stakeholders across First National, including the Data & Analytics team, to implement data best practices for the FP&A teamThe Experience You NeedRecognized accounting designation (e.G., CPA)8-10 years of progressive finance experience, including senior FP&A leadershipStrong financial modeling, forecasting, and business analytics expertiseExperience selecting, implementing, or optimizing finance and/or FP&A systems is an assetExperience in the financial services, mortgages, and/or securitization industries (under IFRS) is an assetProactive and performance‐oriented, with hands‐on, "roll up your sleeves" attitudeStrong attention to detail with the ability to take a step back and assess the big pictureProfessional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey financial concepts simplyStrong organizational, time management, and project management skillsHighly effective in inspiring teams, and developing and managing cross‐functional relationships across the organizationWorking Environment And Physical Demands AnalysisOffice environmentPeriods of high volume with tight timelinesLong periods of stationary position/sittingProlonged periods of repetitive movement (i.E.
