This role supports the FireSmart program, working alongside the FireSmart Coordinator. You will engage with the community and partners to deliver wildfire assessments, public education, and program initiatives aimed at wildfire risk reduction. Your expertise will guide homeowners in making their properties safer against wildfires.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete assessments for FireSmart programs with the coordinator
• Facilitate public education events on wildfire preparedness
• Provide tailored FireSmart recommendations to homeowners




• Implement community-specific FireSmart programming
• Offer hands-on support for FireSmart activities in local neighborhoods
Requirements:
• Current Class 5 Drivers License
• LFR, Wildfire Mitigation Specialist designation
• Successful Canada Criminal Record Check
• Knowledge of wildfire behavior and management
• Ability to present effectively in group settings
