You will join a dedicated team creating an innovative Unified Threat Management (UTM) feature set including Anti-Virus, Web Filter, Data Leak Prevention, and Anti-Spam.You love tackling challenging problems and take pride in writing clean, well-structured code. Most importantly, you are eager to learn and grow — making your work rewarding and FortiGate the best it can be for our users.ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain software that powers our TLS stack and UTM feature setStay up to date on new developments in application-layer protocols and software practices, suggesting improvements within the teamPromote and uphold best coding and design practicesProvide product improvement suggestions based on hands‑on use of Fortinet productsResearch and define new areas of technology to enhance existing or future products; re-evaluate design and implementation of current code as neededRequirements3+ years of experience in C/C++/Golang/Rust developmentStrong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience developing software in Linux or UNIX‑like environmentsKnowledge of TLS, TCP/IP, POSIX APIs, and socket programmingFamiliarity with source control systems (Git or others)Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologiesAssets:Understanding of networking and security concepts, especially in TLS stackExperience with scripting languages (Shell, Python,

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.
