LabTest Certification Inc. is a Canadian-based Testing, Certification, and Inspection Body with over 20 years in the TIC industry. Our head office is in Delta, BC, with additional locations in Richmond, BC, Toronto, ON, and Las Vegas, NV. We are currently looking for a full‑time Field Representative in the Special Inspections Department located in Oakville, Ontario, who is ready to travel across Canada.

Qualifications

- Practical knowledge of electrical and electronic equipment and calibration of related instruments, with 4+ years of experience in a related workplace.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

Special Inspections

- Coordinate inspection scheduling with the SI Account Manager and/or the Department Manager.
- Conduct inspections following the established procedure and checklist.
- Observe all safety measures, including client safety instructions.
- Gather and submit invoicing information to the Accounting Department.

Evaluation of Results

- Evaluate inspection results and report outcomes to the Department Manager.
- Prepare and write inspection reports.




- Compile test data and inspection findings.

Follow‑Up on Non‑Conformances and Corrective Actions

- Report deviations or non‑conformances to the Department Manager.
- Follow up on client corrective actions according to procedure.

Client Management

- Handle and answer any client questions, issues, or concerns.
- Report client feedback to the Department Manager.

Working Conditions

- Monday to Friday (typically 9 AM to 5:30 PM unless travel is required).
- Travel required locally and/or internationally.
- Valid driving licence and passport required.
- Own vehicle preferred.

Compensation

Salary range: $50,000 – $60,000 per year.
