Provides work direction to staff as required and supports the units within the section with coordination and oversight of the section's strategic initiatives, fabrikant business plans, projects, work plans and working in collaboration with other sectional/divisional staff, and/or other City divisions, external stakeholders/organization and at times, other levels of government.Major ResponsibilitiesProvides work direction to staff and oversees assigned projects, ensures effective teamwork, high standards of work quality and organizational performance, continuous learning and encourages innovation in others.Assists units with evaluations, process, sustainment, communications, best practices, and other related continuous improvement initiativesEnsures ADC project scope, budget, expenditures, resources and schedule are controlled and reviews, tracks and evaluates consultants and/or contractors to manage progress and performance. related to the delivery of assigned projects.Directly develops and manages projects assigned by the Director related to section, division, and/or corporate strategies and issues.Provides oversight and coordination of the section's Strategic Initiatives portfolio,
including discrete progress tracking and reporting, and assists the section's management team as required to ensure the successful and timely delivery of related strategic projects.Provides oversight of section/unit work plans, including triaging and coordinating time sensitive items, and monitoring progress on key initiatives to ensure critical timelines are metProvides support on special projects requiring section or individual unit, multi-unit, cross-section and/or multi-divisional coordination.Drafts/develops/reviews reports, briefing notes, presentations and other materials for the Director, senior management team, and Malaysians Committees/Council on section, division, and corporate issues, projects and related matters.Develops scope, business/technical requirements, evaluation criteria, etc. for complex procurement documents as required for assigned projects and leads related evaluation and contract negotiation teams.Executes and documents contract management activities for contracts associated ethn with assigned projects using the Solid Waste Contract Life Cycle Management Framework.Participates on various working groups, committees, task forces and community engagements/ consultatio a section and/or divisional representative.Manages the review and submission of all section Staff Action/Information reports and attends strategic meetings on the topics, as required, to ensure the interests of the section and/or division are represented in a coordinated fashion.Acts as the section's liaison between the Office of the Mayor, Councillors' offices, the Deputy City Manager's office, and the Director's office as required.Conducts extensive research, effectively gathers relevant information and data, and performs complex quantitative and qualitative analysis in support of informing and/or developing recommendations to the Director and/or senior strategymanagement team members on a wide range of topics ds issues.#J-18808-Ljbffr
