Support the growth of the Firebag SAGD asset with Suncor as an Operations Specialist - Projects Advisor. You will lead project integration and operational readiness initiatives for critical energy projects.
This agile role requires a candidate with 7-10 years in SAGD plant operations, preferably with experience at Firebag. You'll apply your expertise in Readiness for Operations and lifecycle management to ensure the seamless implementation of growth projects. Engagement with cross-functional teams and strong stakeholder communication skills will be essential in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure project readiness with Develop and Manage Projects process
• Collaborate with teams to achieve operational integration
• Lead detailed project planning focusing on deliverables
• Interface with EPCs and stakeholders for outcomes
• Support Production Unit alignment on project scope
Requirements:
• Power Engineering Certificate or relevant Degree
• 7-10 years in SAGD operations
• Experience in Capital Projects and RFO activities
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management
• Proven ability to communicate with diverse audiences
