The Information Technology Division requires one (1) IT Service Desk and Security Access Analyst to provide frontline technical and security access support for the Edmonton Police Service. The successful candidate will exercise a sufficient level of technical and customer service skills to perform the following duties:
- Provide excellent end user support and problem resolution via telephone, email and in-person communication.
- Administer, configure and support the service management application – Ivanti Neurons for ITSM and ITAM.
- Perform Ivanti Neurons for ITSM and ITAM application programming and configuration activities.
- Maintain a service management enhancement roadmap aligned with service delivery objectives.
- Administer security access via card and key management by validating identity, employment status, security clearance levels and approval documentation.
- Security onboarding and off boarding of EPS Employees.
- Prepare and maintain support documentation/knowledgebase.
- Conduct necessary application training activities.
- Other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Degree in a related discipline and 1 year relevant experience; OR Post secondary diploma in a related discipline and 2 years relevant experience; OR 1 year related certificate and 4 years relevant experience.
- ITIL V3 or higher certificate.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with call tracking applications including administration of such applications.
- Ivanti Enterprise Service Management Administrator certificate will be considered an asset
- CompTIA Security certification will be considered an asset.
- Experience in Genetec Security Center will be considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of security protocols and security tools.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Excellent working knowledge of Active Directory Administration.
- Working knowledge of mobile devices.
- Ability to diagnose problems and provide support on a wide range of applications.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to work with a minimum amount of supervision, multi-task, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
Hours of Work
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 07:30-16:00. Some after-hours or on-call work may be required.
Salary Range
21B Salary Grade: 044, $46.16 - $58.16 (Hourly); $3,692.80 - $4,653.33 (Bi-Weekly), $96,382.08 - $121,450.61 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
