Lead Proposal Specialist - Investments (Regional Market Development) The role can be based in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, or Halifax. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days in the office each week, but it may be eligible for a fully remote arrangement. Responsibilities Lead the proposal writing process, crafting clear, persuasive, and tailored content that addresses client needs and showcases Mercer’s value proposition, primarily focusing in our Wealth business including investment consulting opportunities while supporting other practices (Career and MMB) as needed. Ensure compliance with client requirements and timely submissions, acting as a strategic advisor to consultants on positioning and messaging. Leverage winning deal strategies to drive growth and succeed in high-impact proposals, coaching consulting teams on delivering the best of the firm. Prepare finalist presentations to capture recent business and maintain existing client relationships across industries. Regularly update and manage the content proposal database to streamline future submissions and ensure access to the latest information and best practices. Qualifications 5+ years of senior proposal management experience in professional services or a large/global multidisciplinary organization, with a strong preference for candidates with a track record in industries such as banking, investing, and asset management. Extensive experience in working with and coaching multi-faceted teams to create client-facing presentations. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail. Proven experience in leading complex, technically focused proposal (RFP response) opportunities.

The base pay will be determined based on experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.
