FNHA seeks a proactive coordinator with 3-5 years of relevant experience in community involvement and health resources. This role involves significant collaboration, requiring coordination of engagement efforts, and assessing health needs within the Treaty 8 Nations. A background in Health Sciences, Education, or Social Services is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement community engagement strategies
• Facilitate meetings and gatherings effectively
• Identify health care needs for regional planning
• Collaborate with First Nations on cultural practices
• Maintain respectful relationships across diverse groups
Requirements:
• University degree in Health or related field
• 3-5 years' experience in community support roles
• Class 5 BC Driver's License required
• Knowledge of health systems and First Nations contexts
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
