This role is suitable for a Director of Finance or Controller.About the RoleThe Director of Finance will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of a PE-backed global organization, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and efficient execution across multiple regions. Working closely with the CFO, this role ensures that financial processes, controls, and systems operate at a world-class standard to support the company’s international footprint and growth trajectory.The ideal candidate has deep experience in global finance operations, PE reporting, and multi-entity consolidation, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, process improvement, and operational discipline.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Operations & ReportingOversee global accounting operations, including general ledger management, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close.Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.Lead the global consolidation process across multiple subsidiaries, joint ventures, and international entities.Manage eliminations, intercompany transactions, foreign currency impacts, and alignment of local GAAP to group reporting standards.Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance across all regions.Support treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.2. Consolidation & Technical AccountingOwn the preparation of consolidated financial reports, ensuring accuracy of intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and multi-currency adjustments.Develop and maintain consolidation frameworks, templates,
and best practices.Provide guidance to regional finance teams to ensure compliance with group accounting policies.Work with the CFO and external advisors on complex accounting issues including revenue recognition, leases, and financial instruments.3. Purchase Price Accounting (PPA) & M&A SupportManage purchase price allocation and post-transaction integration from an accounting perspective.Oversee the identification and valuation of intangible assets, goodwill, and fair value adjustments for acquired entities.Maintain continuity of financial reporting through acquisition, ensuring alignment with PE and audit requirements.Support the CFO, FP&A, and external advisors with financial due diligence, integration plans, and post-acquisition reporting.4. PE Reporting & CompliancePrepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for private equity partners.Track KPIs, financial covenants, cash metrics, and other performance indicators.Lead audit coordination and ensure compliance with international tax regulations, transfer pricing, and statutory reporting requirements.5. FP&A Execution & ReportingSupport the CFO in the budgeting and forecasting cycle.Consolidate global budgets, prepare variance analyses, and provide operational insights.Develop standardized reporting tools and dashboards to improve visibility and efficiency.6.
