Join Wood's Homes as an Overnight Youth & Family Counsellor I / II in Calgary. This full time position focuses on supporting children and families while fostering their development in a structured environment.
In this permanent role, you will contribute to mental health services at Wood's Homes, operating on a rotating overnight shift. Your responsibilities will include implementing therapeutic programs, participating in team meetings, and managing various case responsibilities for children and youth. With a focus on high-quality service delivery, this position plays a holistic role in the community's well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement structured settings for personal development
• Participate in meetings and training sessions
• Manage therapeutic responsibilities for children and youth
• Maintain program living space and cleanliness
• Prepare meals and handle transportation tasks
Requirements:
• Diploma/degree in social sciences or related field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Class 5 driver’s license and own transportation
• Preferred experience working with young people
