In this role, you will leverage your expertise to ensure the stability and efficiency of our Cockroach Cloud services across various cloud platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll work on critical features that enhance the overall user experience and performance of our systems, all while contributing to a culture of reliability and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and design intricate internal systems for Cockroach Cloud
• Develop software for reliability and operational efficiency
• Solve complex problems in mission-critical services




• Operate and automate Kubernetes deployment for maximum uptime
• Engage in an on-call rotation for production systems
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers like AWS or GCP
• Solid background in troubleshooting distributed systems
• Proficiency in programming with Go, Java, or C++
• Experience managing production Kubernetes environments
• At least 5 years in a similar engineering role
