Compensation and Benefits

- Total rewards:$20.00 hourly

- Contract position through August 24, with the possibility of extension based on business needs
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)

Responsibilities

- Review patient prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
- Enter, prepare, and process prescriptions efficiently and accurately
- Process third-party insurance claims and resolve claim-related issues




- Support pharmacists with daily dispensing and administrative activities
- Order, receive, and maintain pharmacy inventory levels
- Monitor inventory and assist with stock replenishment activities
- Collect and process prescription payments from customers
- Maintain accurate records while adhering to pharmacy policies and procedures

Requirements

- Minimum 3 months of Pharmacy Assistant experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling prescriptions
- Experience processing prescriptions in a pharmacy setting
- Knowledge of third-party insurance claim processing
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with HealthWatch pharmacy software is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to patient confidentiality
