As a key member of our team, this role requires a Child and Youth Care Degree or Diploma, with at least two years of related experience. You will be responsible for assessing needs, implementing customized care plans, and ensuring the well-being of youth aged 13-18 in a secure setting. Collaboration with care teams is essential for creating safe and supportive spaces for personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and set goals for individual care plans
• Teach socially appropriate behaviors through daily activities




• Monitor youth to ensure safety and well-being
• Provide behavior management and emotional support
• Advocate effectively for the needs of youth
Requirements:
• Child and Youth Care Degree or relevant diploma
• Minimum two years related experience
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• CPR/First Aid and WHMIS certificates
• Experience in Trauma Informed Practices
