Lead community recreation initiatives as a Recreation Programmer with the City of Brooks. This dynamic role includes managing summer camps and engaging diverse age groups in activities.
You will assist the Recreation Program Coordinator in the execution of programming activities aimed at enhancing community well-being. Your main focus will be on orchestrating the summer day camp and other recreational pursuits, managing budgets, staff scheduling, and ensuring participant satisfaction through effective communication and programming evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer summer camp and recreational activities
• Market and execute community events and programs
• Collect participant insights for future programming enhancements




• Supervise volunteers and manage participant engagement
• Conduct evaluations and provide feedback for program effectiveness
Requirements:
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous community programming experience is advantageous
• Standard First Aid certification is required shortly after hiring
• Class 5 Drivers’ License is mandatory
• Capacity to work flexible schedule, including evenings
