This role includes maintaining hard floor and carpeted surfaces, operating specialized cleaning equipment, performing high-level cleaning using ladders, and managing waste removal processes throughout the facility.**Main Duties and Responsibilities****Equipment & Machinery Operation**Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including walk-behind and ride-on floor machines, carpet extractors, vacuums, and power washersPerform floor care tasks such as scrubbing, stripping, waxing,



and polishing using appropriate machineryShampoo and extract carpets using industrial-grade equipmentTransport cleaning machinery between floors and designated work areas as requiredConduct pre- and post-use inspections and cleaning of all equipmentEnsure proper tools and equipment are selected and used for each task**Facility Cleaning & Maintenance**Clean and maintain large floor surfaces using both manual and powered equipmentPerform high-level cleaning (glass, ledges, vents, light fixtures, ceiling fans) using laddersDetail clean stairwells, elevator cabs, walls, partitions, and facility fixturesDust mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors in common areas and washroomsPolish chrome, stainless steel, and other surfaces as requiredClean maintenance rooms, tenant areas, and stock rooms on scheduled rotationsPower wash exterior curbside areas and assist with snow removal as required**Waste Management & Material Handling**Operate waste handling processes including transporting garbage from collection points to compactorsEmpty, clean, and maintain waste containers and garbage binsRespond to spills, including medical spills or floods, using proper PPE and proceduresPerform litter removal in interior and exterior areas**Operational Support**Deliver and restock cleaning supplies as neededSet up and remove equipment such as stanchions as scheduledFollow designated cleaning routes and respond promptly to radio callsUse iOS-based systems to track, verify,



and document completed tasksMaintain responsibility for assigned keys, tools, and equipment**Qualifications****WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?****Safety Responsibilities**Operate all machinery and equipment in accordance with training and safety guidelinesUse required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including CSA-approved footwearAttend all required health, safety, and technical training sessionsFollow company safety policies and procedures and report hazards or incidents immediatelySupport a safe work setting and participate in return-to-work programs as requiredBecomes an I Am Toronto Pearson AmbassadorAssist and engage with passengers in the terminal as neededPerform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managementThis position requires the ability to work independently during overnight hours (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) while safely operating cleaning machinery and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facility care.**Pay rate:**$21.72 per hour with yearly pay increases.**Additional Information**Dexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
