This role reports to the Program Manager and is vital in ensuring smooth operations in the Outpatient Physiotherapy department. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patients for treatment, assisting with specific care tasks, and maintaining inventory. Basic knowledge of infection control and effective communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist physiotherapists with limited patient care activities
• Prepare patients and department for physiotherapy sessions
• Manage supplies, linens,
and equipment efficiently
• Ensure cleanliness and infection control standards are met
• Establish and maintain good relationships with patients and staff
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or GED diploma required
• Previous experience as a ward/unit aide preferred
• Current WHIMIS certification mandatory
• Demonstrated computer competency for clinic tasks
• Availability for permanent full time hours
