Battersea is looking for three Rehoming & Welfare Assistants to join our dedicated team in Battersea. The role emphasizes cleanliness, proper nutrition, and enrichment for dogs, while catering to their unique medical and behavioural needs. Your diligence in record-keeping and protocol review will directly impact the care provided to our dogs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure kennels are clean and welcoming for dogs
• Provide necessary food, hydration, and stimulation for animals
• Keep accurate, up-to-date animal health records
• Assess and update care procedures for improvement
• Address both behavioural and health-related needs of dogs
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in animal care or welfare
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Passion for animal welfare and rehabilitation
• Willingness to work wide-ranging hours, including weekends
