AMHS-KFLA is seeking a Dual Diagnosis Support Specialist in Kingston. This full time role involves working with adults facing mental illness and co-occurring disabilities to enhance their recovery and independence.
As part of the team, you will assess needs, create individualized treatment plans, and lead skill development programs. You will apply psychosocial rehabilitation principles, ensuring clients with dual diagnoses access the support they require for community integration and daily programming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client needs and develop tailored treatment strategies
• Implement evidence-informed intervention and counseling
• Support community integration for clients through coordination




• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team discussions
• Follow established Agency protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
• University Degree in health care or related field
• Three years’ relevant experience in community-based services
• Strong knowledge of mental health and developmental disabilities
• Experience with crisis intervention strategies
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access
