Pay rate range - $55/hr. to $60/hr.Hybrid 4 days onsiteRole MandateDevelops detailed financial and economic analysis to assist the designated business portfolio with decision support. Works closely with business leaders and Finance partners to provide financial advice and service that supports the financial management activities of the Group/portfolio. Supports the monitoring and management of financial performance against plans, forecasts, initiatives and objectives. Generates information and insights that support key business decisions to drive value (e.G., revenue growth, cost management, resource allocation, balance sheet optimization, etc.).Candidate Value Proposition (CVP)This role allows the candidate(s) to work in an established institution and with multiple groups within CLIENT, which will allow candidate(s) to build effective skills and confidence.The individual is exposed to other lines of business, as there are lots of opportunities for learning, growth, and development.This role will be responsible for forecasting functions associated with the business, including but not limited to, gathering inputs and assumptions, understanding the business needs, revising Outlook monthly, financial reporting, creating reporting materials for management groups, communicating results, completing finance or treasury related requests, involvement in strategic initiatives, and building out financial modelling of business initiatives.There is a lot of prospect to move on to other teams within the bank, as this candidate will gain exposure to the entire side of the business.Group CultureThis individual will be working in an established, growing, and friendly environment. Teams are very supportive of one another.Role ResponsibilitiesActs as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policiesMay network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practicesMay own internal/external stakeholder relationshipsSupports/Leads financial planning, forecasting and performance reviews that utilize plan, forecast and actual financial information to develop annual plans and targets.Performs variance analyses, and ad-hoc forward-looking analyses to improve understanding of business drivers as well as opportunities to improve performance for product improvement, profit improvement, financial impact of initiatives/strategic business decisionsSupports the development of methodologies and policies to enable analyses and insights focused on financial dimensions (e.G., revenue, expense, balance sheet, capital, etc.)Determines the financial impact of initiatives/ strategic business decisions, and incorporate the impacts into future financial forecasts/plans.Assesses reasonableness of business cases and performs due-diligence during Investment reviews and approvals processesWorks with the business to align key performance indicators with financial forecasts and plansBreaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide financial insights and recommendationsEmploys systems (e.G. customized exception reports, tracking reports etc.) to manage informationIntegrates information from multiple sources (e.G. financial and operational systems) to enable more efficient processes,
