Qualifications :

- Education/Certification:
- Complete Grade 12 education
- 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate as recognized by the Province of Manitoba
- Management certification/Leadership courses are considered an asset

- Experience:

- One (1) year previous experience working as a 5th Class Power Engineer in a healthcare facility
- One (1) year previous supervisory experience in a maintenance workplace
- Other suitable combinations of education and experience may be considered

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

- Coordinates work flow, assigning work and delegating in a manner which provides optimum service efficiency.
- Responsible for service coordination of contractors and general building maintenance at EMHC,



in conjunction with the Quality and Operations Manager.
- Arranges for outside contractors as required and monitors performance, hours and billings, taking appropriate action as required.
- Ensures work orders are being completed accurately, satisfactorily and reported appropriately, including delegating tasks appropriate to Maintenance and/or Groundskeeping personnel.
