If this sounds like you, apply today and discover your potential with Lakeside!ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Unpacking and inspecting received goods for damage and countPreparing and assembling orders for shipment, affixing proper identifying information based on shipping instructionsArranging carriers for customer shipments and coordinating for customer pick-ups, as necessaryOperation of forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load and store goodsCoordinating other non-stock shipmentsLending support to inside/outside sales staffMaintaining organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and proper storage of goodsPicking orders for assembly techniciansVerifying packing slips to purchase ordersConducting monthly cycle counts for inventoryFinal testing and shipping of productDaily interfacing with internal business system / ERP softwareEnsuring accurate inventory counts and product movementKnowledge and skills required for the roleHigh School DiplomaExperience working in shipping/receiving and/or a warehouse environment would be considered an assetKnowledge of Health and Safety issues and regulationsExperience with inventory control and order management software or shipping software would be considered an assetForklift certification would be considered an assetExcellent time-management skillsWhat we give YOU!Flexible working schedules, including hybrid work from home programsA competitive compensation package, with RRSP-matchingComprehensive benefits coverage (medical, dental, vision, EAP & on-demand virtual health care)A culture that promotes healthy work-life balance with above-market paid time offA structured training and development program and opportunities for continuous learningOpportunity to participate in an award-winning wellness programCommitment to DiversityLakeside Process Controls Ltd. is committed to employment equity and welcomes diversity.
