Securicare is looking for a Patient Watch Attendant to ensure the well-being of patients requiring constant observation. Your responsibilities will include observing behavior, notifying staff of any concerns, and assisting with patient mobility. This position requires exceptional communication skills and a strong attention to detail to efficiently manage urgent situations and maintain a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor patients needing extra supervision continuously
• Notify healthcare staff of any significant changes or safety issues
• Assist patients with mobility and comfort needs
• Maintain calm interactions to promote a supportive environment
• Document observations and actions accurately
Requirements:
• Valid BC Security Guard License
• Basic First Aid Certification (OFA 1)
• Previous healthcare or security experience is an asset
• Strong interpersonal communication abilities
• Flexibility to work diverse shifts
