In this full-time role, you will contribute significantly to the growth of infants and toddlers at Okanagan Mission YMCA Child Care. Your focus will be on nurturing development through play-based learning, respecting each child's unique journey. You will work collaboratively with families to create inclusive experiences for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver age-appropriate play-based learning programs
• Create a safe environment for infants and toddlers
• Foster strong, trusting relationships with families
• Adapt learning experiences to meet individual needs
• Uphold health and safety regulations in childcare
Requirements:
• Valid British Columbia ECE Infant/Toddler Certificate
• Current First Aid Certificate with CPR skills
• Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
• Solid interpersonal communication skills
• Must meet minimum age requirement of 19
