Responsibilities
Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to ensure efficiency and quality.
Oversee cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS to process transactions accurately.
Lead and motivate team members by providing guidance, training, and support during shifts.
Manage food safety protocols, proper food handling, and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Assist in interviewing potential staff members and participate in hiring processes to build a strong team.
Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production schedules and ensure timely delivery of orders.
Experience
Prior supervising experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment is required.
Proven food industry background with hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving is required.
Robust leadership skills demonstrated through team management and training roles.
Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and hospitality best practices.
Background in hotel or barista settings can be beneficial but not required; a passion for hospitality is key.
