Serving the local mining industry, heavy equipment contractors, as well as public walk-ins. Precision Arc often has a wide variety of projects on the go.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to assemble structural forms.

Qualifications
MUST hold Red Seal Welder or Fabricator certificate valid in CANADA & have at least 5 years journeyman working experience
Hold a valid DL and be comfortable driving large service type vehicles in all types of weather conditions
Motivated
Able to complete tasks to a high standard of quality with minimal supervision
Show a solid commitment to safety
Willingness to work OT if required
Be proficient in all welding processes Ex. GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, CAC
CNC plasma cutting/CAD experience is an asset
Understanding and knowledge of Lineboring operations are an asset

Some Duties Include
Operate power tools and hand tools to fabricate and weld metal components
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
Utilize plasma cutting equipment for metal fabrication
Conduct quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools
Assemble metal structures
Operate forklifts to move materials within the workshop

Job Type: Full time Pay: From $50.00 per hour
