Java's team brings more than 50 years of experience building some of Canada's largest electrical infrastructure projects. SharePoint Administrator to join our IT team.

Based in our Calgary office and reporting to the Team Lead, Business Applications , you will be responsible for the administration, governance, security, and continuous improvement of our SharePoint Online setting. The SharePoint Administrator ensures the SharePoint Online platform is reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business and compliance requirements in a Contemporary Workplace setting. This role includes site architecture, permissions management, document governance, and collaboration with Application Support and Business Analyst teams.

SharePoint Administration Administer, maintain, and optimize SharePoint Online sites and site collections. Design and govern site architecture, permissions, and access controls. Lead SharePoint site provisioning, lifecycle management, and decommissioning.

Ensure alignment with information governance,



privacy, and compliance standards (including Microsoft Purview where applicable). Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint and OneDrive issues. Documentation and Training Develop SOPs, standards, and technical documentation.

Provide user guidance, training, and adoption support. Collaborate with Application Support, Business Analysts, and Security teams. 5+ years of enterprise SharePoint Online administration experience Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) Exposure to Microsoft Purview (preferred) Microsoft certifications (a plus) Work collaboratively with other teams across all Java Group of Companies Valid driver's license and potential use of a personal vehicle for travel Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer Commitment to ongoing skills development, including training and certifications Innovation, Community, Excellence, and Safety Extended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental & Vision) Training & Development Employee Assistance Program - Counseling #
