Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic legal advice on municipal governance and procurement
Serve as a trusted advisor to City Council and senior leadership
Manage litigation, contract negotiations,

Lead and manage the Legal Services Division effectively

Requirements:
Law degree (LLB or JD) and bar admission in Ontario
Ten years of progressive legal experience
Knowledge of municipal government legislation and standards
Expertise in administrative law principles
Proven leadership in public sector law settings
