Overview

We are seeking a Service Writer & Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive repair, strong customer service skills, and the ability to upsell services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within a dealership setting.

Duties
Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
Write accurate service orders based on customer requests and vehicle issues
Communicate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs
Upsell additional services or maintenance packages to customers
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Operate Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
Handle cash transactions with precision and integrity
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
Answer customer inquiries via phone or in-person with excellent phone etiquette
Demonstrate time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
Utilize technology sales tools to enhance the customer shopping experience

Skills
Prior experience in automotive repair or dealership environment
Strong sales and upselling abilities
Proficiency in cash handling procedures




Excellent customer service skills
Basic mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues
Ability to work collaboratively with mechanics and other team members

-Mitchell 1 software knowledge is a plus
Proficient in POS systems and cash handling procedures
Strong sales acumen with a passion for selling
Phone etiquette and communication skills
Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience in technology sales is a plus
Basic math skills for accurate transactions

Wage dependent on experience and skills, starting at $20.00 per hour This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilize your automotive knowledge and customer service skills to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Job is located in Diamond Valley, AB.
