As a Turbomachinery Engineer, you'll lead the end-to-end design of cryogenic pumps and hot-side turbines while utilizing advanced modeling and simulation techniques.
Your expertise in aerodynamics and hydrodynamics will ensure effective and effective design solutions tailored for the complexities of high-speed rotating equipment, alongside collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee fluidic design from preliminary sizing through detailed analysis
Define blade geometries in ANSYS BladeModeler
Perform comprehensive CFD analyses for diverse conditions
Investigate transient behaviors and their implications
Develop preliminary design codes and automation tools
Requirements:
Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree
Minimum 5 years in turbomachinery roles
High proficiency in commercial CFD software
Familiar with Siemens NX and MATLAB programming
Experience in correlating CFD with test outcomes
