Join Carol Lake Metal Works as a Senior Estimator & Design Technologist in Labrador City, NL. This pivotal role emphasizes accurate estimating and design for industrial fabrication projects. As a key member of the Fabrication & Material Processing team, you will report to the Drafting Coordinator.

Your expertise in estimating, drafting, and technical coordination will be essential in executing diverse projects. This position requires a solid background in mechanical technology, along with proficiency in SolidWorks and effective collaboration with project managers, fabrication teams, and suppliers. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, and overhead
Review engineered drawings and project documentation




Collaborate with project managers and operations teams
Coordinate with suppliers for accurate project pricing
Develop layouts and engineering specifications using SolidWorks Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Technology or related field
5+ years of estimating and drafting experience
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software
Solid ability to read technical drawings
