Job Summary

We are seeking a agile and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation team! Duties
Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle readiness and safety
Communicate effectively with dispatchers,



warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Follow all safety protocols related to freight handling, heavy equipment operation, and driving regulations

Requirements
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Certification or experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment
Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads and performing vehicle inspections
Robust communication skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping
Flexibility to work wide-ranging shifts including weekends or overnight routes as needed
