A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in the Fraser Valley is looking to appoint aSenior Structural Engineerto lead and grow their Structural Engineering function.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced structural engineer who enjoys a mix oftechnical leadership, project delivery, and team development. The successful candidate will take ownership of the structural department, overseeing project delivery and mentoring junior staff while maintaining a hands-on role in design.The majority of projects will beresidential developments (approximately 80%), including single-family homes, townhouses, and multi-unit residential buildings, with additional exposure to light commercial and institutional work.The RoleReporting directly to the leadership team, you will play a key role inleading structural engineering services and supporting continued growth of the business .Key responsibilities include:Lead theStructural Engineering department, providing technical oversight and mentorshipManage structural design and analysis for primarilywood-frame residential developmentsReview and approve structural calculations, drawings, and technical documentationAct asEngineer of Recordon projects where appropriateCoordinate with architects, developers, contractors, and other consultantsSupport project delivery fromconcept design through constructionProvide guidance to junior engineers, EITs,
